So I tried adding to the stock 16GB a PC3 12800S 1.5V (no DDR3L) in the upper (wrong, on purpose!) slot: the system did not boot at all and shutdown immediately after I pressed the Power button on (weird!). My G751JY was stock: the other 2 upper RAM connectors were empty (16GB). Lucky enough I've found a way to accede the BIOS. Any key combo to access BIOS wasn't working anymore and all I could see was a black unlit screen. No BIOS booting, nothing: laptop switched on but after 10 secs switched off. The other day I bricked my ASUS G751JY: black screen on reboot after I used Intel XTU, where I checked the very dangerous option "Force Reboot" (which actually means "Apply on reboot even before the POST and BIOS loading!") after I changed core MHz from 100 to 108.
